How to Vote

1. Register to Vote

To vote in the upcoming election, you must be registered. The registration deadline is October 15, 2026.

  • You must be 18 years old by Election Day
  • You must be a resident of the district where you're registering
  • Register online, by mail, or in person at your local election office

2. Know Your Voting Options

Vote Early

October 20 - October 25, 2026

Visit any early voting location during the early voting period. No excuse needed.

Vote by Mail

Request by October 1, 2026

Request an absentee ballot and mail it back. Must be postmarked by Election Day.

Vote on Election Day

October 26, 2026 (7 AM - 8 PM)

Vote at your assigned polling location. Bring a valid photo ID.

3. What to Bring

When you go to vote, bring one of the following forms of ID:

  • Driver's license
  • Canadian passport
  • Military ID
  • Indian status card
  • Birth certificate
  • Health card
